How blogs have benefit me or rather help me

Short Introducton About Blogging

The begining of this year, Our English teacher, Mrs Ho, Had introduced a very good website to us. It is the " blogger". Blog is sort of dairy, that allows your families member, relatives or even friends to leave a comment after reading the posts you have written in your blog. So interesting and fun right?Among writing post, commenting your friends , reading the friends' comments, correcting mistake, I like to read my friends' comments. I think that it is interesting to do that, as I can learned my mistake that my friends had found.

How Blogs Help Me

After using the blogs for months, I gradually realised that the blogs is not only letting me to write posts, but , actually imoproving my English. For example, I have learnt some grammer mistake that my friends had point out through tagging on my tag board, my English sentences and other many more. Other than teaching me English, Blogs actually also develop my interest on writing diary.

My Thoughts

I think that blogger is a wonderful website for me, as it can help to enhance my English Language. I will introduce this website to more of my relatives and friends.

Hi everybody,
Would all of you want to know
which biome that I wanted to live in?
Read the text below and you will know more!

Among all the four biomes, tundra , desert, rainforest and grassland , I wanted to choose to live in the ..............tundra. I felt very boring living in the Singapore, as I had lived there for more than 11 years. I would like to explore the country and experienced the weather there alone by myself.
I think that I must find more information about the tundra before I go there. I decided to find some free times to go to the tundra to interview a Eskimo that living there in order for me to live there for a period of time. I had written a list of questions in this way:

1) How is the weather there?
2) What should I bring along with me When I am living there for a period of long time?
3) What should I wear there?
4) What kind of food that I could eat there?
5) What kinds of animals are living in the tundra?
6) Any fun activities held in the tundra?
7) Any plant growing there?
8) Any hotels in the tundra?

Soon, I got the answer. I quickly got back to the Singapore and packed up my luggage. The moment when I reached there, I saw the Eskimo welcoming me to live with him, as his past is quite similar as me. He brought me to his garden that he had been planted for the past few months. The plants that he have been planted there are cushion plants , dark red lichen, lichen and others many more.

The food that they eat there are all frozen. They usually drink the cold water to keep themselves alive. The animals that are living in the tundra are the musk ox, snow owl and others more. There are many fun activities held in the tundra which I like it very much.
Examples are challenging to make snowman, skiiing, throwing snow balls at each other. These
games cannot be played or experienced in Singapore.

I thought that living in tundra is much better than in singapore!

Hope you all enjoy

Hi everybody,

Are you interested to know why some of the people, buildings or even the MRT stations are named as Raffles? And the Raffles’s history. Read on my text below and you could find out more.

Why people named their child raffles?

Some of the parents wish their children will be walking on the same path as Raffles. It means that they will as bright as him, will be a famous person as him when their children grows up and set up prospering business to be a good and well-known business man or woman.

Why the government wants to name one of the MRT station and some of the buildings in Singapore as Raffles name?

The reason is very simple. They wanted to commemorate Raffles who had made Singapore from a deserted place to a modern country. What a Singapore hero.

The Raffles history

Raffles had founded Singapore on 19 January; 1819.He had started to do business in Singapore as he thought that Singapore had a very good location in the world. It lays in the middle of the equator line, had a deep blue seas surrounded where most of the business man could easily find a place to park them. So, he had started to do the business there. He started to think of a way to attract the others businessmen from other country to start the business here by starting a new rule on: The port in Singapore was free of charge! That was really works. So there was more and more business in Singapore. He died on 5 July 1826 in Barvet, England.

Raffles hobby

Stamford Raffles was deeply fascinated by the immense diversity of strange animals and plants of the East Indies during his tenure there. He soon employed zoologists and botanists to discover all they can about the animals and plants of the region and would pay his assistants out of his own pockets to collect specimens. He also revived and became the president of the Batavian Society, which was actively engaged in the study of natural history of Java and adjacent areas. Sir Thomas Stamford Raffles passed away a day before his 45th birthday in 1826. A few years earlier, in 1821 and 1822, he contributed two papers in the Transactions of the Zoological Society, London, with descriptions of some 34 species of birds and 13 species of mammals, chiefly from Sumatra. Most of the new species he named are valid today, and these animals will continue to remind us of the contributions he has made. Animals named by Raffles himself include.

My Thoughts

So I think that Sir Stamford Raffles is a hero to Singapore. If he did not pass by Singapore, I think that there will not be not have any modern Singapore now in the map and there will be tourist coming to Singapore. Therefore, I think that sir Stamford Raffles is very important to Singapore!

Hi Everybody,

Let me tell you what exactly is cloning?

Cloning is the creation of an organism that is an exact genetic copy of another. This means that every single bit of DNA is the same between the two!
You might not believe it, but there are human clones among us right now. They weren't made in a lab, though: they're identical twins, created naturally. Below, we'll see how natural identical twins relate to modern cloning technologies.

How is cloning done?
You may have first heard of cloning when Dolly the Sheep showed up on the scene in 1997. Cloning technologies have been around for much longer than Dolly, though.
How does one go about making an exact genetic copy of an organism? It is done by this way: there are a couple of ways to do this: artificial embryo twinning and somatic cell nuclear transfer. This how cloning done.

My Thoughts
I disagree with cloning. The cloning may be a dangerous thing to do. As most of the experiment are failure. cloning will also fued in the religion.
